Learn more about David P. O'Hara.  Product Designer, UX Designer, and Entrepreneur.

A data-driven product designer and entrepreneur with a passion for design, business, and communication, I enjoy collaborating with teams in fast-paced environments. With 8+ years of agency and SaaS product design, I value direct connections between UX strategy, development teams, and business goals. I know what it’s like to run a business and how to determine design decisions based on business needs.

50 States Apparel - FOUNDER

I created the brand, user experience and visual design in partnership with helpfulhuman.com, and formed all of the product features necessary to build and foster this community of designers who create state-related apparel. I have also done extensive work to structure the designer rev-share program and source the materials needed for production.

I created the brand and am working with the founders of Oly to help form the product direction and give design input as they test the Alpha version of the product. We have done many iterations and pivoted the direction of the product based on user feedback. We are targeting a smart content curator and suggestion AI while also experimenting with solutions for "fake news" and "content echo chambers".

Atlas Design - FOUNDER

In this small design shop we worked with various clients to help build their brands, inform their product experiences, and guide their marketing strategies. Clients included: u-power.org, tagsleuth.com, tweet archivist.com, goodbarseattle.com, viarv.com, explaineracademy.com, helpfulhuman.com, commoncraft.com, and getrocketship.com.
